Application for Refund
Under certain conditions, you may be eligible for a refund of the employee contributions you have made to the pension fund. You must terminate employment with Duluth Public Schools and wait at least 30 days before applying for a refund. A refund application must be completed, signed, and returned to the DTRFA. By taking a refund of your employee contributions, you should understand the consequences: you forfeit all the contributions made by the employer, and you terminate all rights of membership in the DTRFA, including the right to a lifetime monthly annuity.
